BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (WINTEC)

Engineering internships are 450 hours work and there is usually no cost to the employer. Projects are spread out over the entire year with the actual industry placement taking place during the middle of the year. Interns can assist with:

  • Transportation and highway engineering
  • Water and waste water engineering
  • Power electrical engineering

ENGINEERING DIPLOMA (WELTEC)

WelTec offers a technology cadetship programme for selected qualifications. Similar to an apprenticeship, a cadetship programme offers businesses the chance to sponsor a cadet through formal training while the cadet undertakes part-time and holiday work for the company. Engineering cadets can assist your business with a range of projects, including:

  • Civil engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering
  • Electronic engineering
