BACHELOR OF MEDIA ARTS (WINTEC)
Media interns complete 120 hours of work for a company during their third year of study. This can be undertaken at any time during the year and there is usually no cost to the employer. Media arts interns are available for a range of work, including:

WELLINGTON
BACHELOR OF CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES - DIGITIAL MEDIA (WELTEC)
WelTec offers a technology cadetship programme for selected qualifications. Similar to an apprenticeship, a cadetship programme offers businesses the chance to sponsor a cadet through formal training while the cadet undertakes part-time and holiday work for the company. Digital media cadets can assist your business with a range of projects, including:
- Computer graphic design
- 2D and 3D drawing
- Multi-media
- Interactive media
- Moving images
- Digital photography
- 3D animation
CHRISTCHURCH
GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION DESIGN (CPIT)
Information design internships are up to 200 hours in scope and reimbursing the student for their work is optional. Information design interns can assist with:
- Business writing and editing
- Creating training materials
- Creating manuals and other in-house documentation
- Information management and distribution
- Designing marketing material
- Audience analysis
- Usability testing

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS AND GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS - EVENT MANAGEMENT (CPIT)
Event management interns complete up to 400 hours work for a local business, overseen by an academic supervisor and there is usually no cost to the employer. Event management interns can assist with:
- Organising conferences, festivals and community events
- Event marketing and sponsorship
- Event logistics
- Public relations
